Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites (HBMS) invites you to celebrate the creative women of the Lehigh Valley with Songs for Sisters, a one night only, coffeehouse-style concert on Thursday, June 15 from 6-8 p.m. on the second floor of the Single Sisters’ House (50 W. Church St., Bethlehem).
Our May-riffic weekend continued into Sunday, with variety being the theme of the day. Sunday’s lineup ran the gamut of rock and roll, providing a little something for everyone.
Saturday was the first part of our epic, two-part weekend adventure, forever to be known as the 2017 May-riffic Music Festival at American Spirits Roadhouse.
Do you like watching a band that has so much energy that it makes you want to jump around, too? If you haven’t experienced The Plumcocks, then you are truly missing out!
These young men truly know how to bring the fun and excitement to the stage through their catchy lyrics, which range from talking about being broke, all the way to having too much caffeine (or maybe not enough). These are all things we can relate to, right? I have had the opportunity to see this band several times, and you can’t help but to smile, dance, and sing along to their lyrics every time they hit the stage.
The Plumcocks have been on a hiatus, but are excited to announce their comeback with a new album and new shows! I, for one, have been looking forward to their comeback, and I can’t wait to catch their first post-hiatus show!
That’s why The Plumcocks are my Ninjapedia Band of the Week!
It’s also fitting to mention that, this Tuesday, May 30 from 8-10 p.m., we will feature the world premiere of their latest song, “Run to Me,” on The Fyre and Ice Show. This song won’t officially be released to the general public until June 2, so if you want to be one of the first ones to hear it, then make sure you tune in to Neue Regel Radio this Tuesday night.
Check out The Plumcocks online and on Facebook, Twitter, and ReverbNation to keep up-to-date on the band’s happenings, including dates and new music.
Check out The Plumcocks’ video featuring a demo of their song, “18,” below!
First and foremost, Happy Memorial Day, and thank you to all of those who have served, and especially those who have lost their lives for protecting what they held dear.
On our end, we certainly have one May-riffic hangover! Photos and recaps of each individual day of our epic festival will be making their way onto the site over the next 24 hours. Lots of photos equals lots of editing, so bear with us!
In the meantime, jump right back in with a fresh batch of…
Well, that was fun!
Day 1 of our May-riffic Music Festival rocked well into the night and saw top-notch performances across the board. We want to thank Carter Lansing, Jordyn Kenzie, Chelsea Lyn Meyer, Leah Marie Fuls, Rofo Audio, Summer Scouts, Camo, and Rofo Audio (again) for getting us kicked off! Photos and a recap of the entire festival are coming on Monday.
We can’t wait for May-riffic Music Festival to kick off at 2 p.m., and we hope that you are, too!
Before you head out to American Spirits Roadhouse, however, we want to let you know that you can leave the ponchos at home.
