On the Road with Alex Mery & The Townsmen: Day #10 – We Made a Friend (or two)


Today, we spent a few hours in the car traveling through the rest of West Virginia and Kentucky, before finally arriving in Ohio. We had a double-header today in Cincinnati, starting out with a gig at Sitwell’s Coffeehouse.  This intimate, low-key environment was a perfect start to our day, with a few light tunes accompanied by delicious food.

Howdy, y’all! Zach and Alex here again, coming to you now from the vast, woodsy expanse of West Virginia, where we’re pretty sure we saw a grand total of five towns once we hit the WV border from Nashville. But what sights they were! Being in all that open country and winding highways reminded the two of us of driving through Vermont. What a beaut!

This Week’s Ninjapedia: A Time for Reflection

My colleague Pitbull and I were filled with anticipation and excitement for the night’s events. This morning, we went on some individual adventures throughout Nashville before eventually running into each other and catching a fun photo with a historical statue in the area.  Then, we spent some time lounging around the pool and resting before our official Nashville gig.  Once we loaded up the car and headed to Drifters BBQ, we were golden… until we opened the trailer.
