On the Road with Alex Mery & The Townsmen: Day #8 — The Merch is Gone
This morning, we went on some individual adventures throughout Nashville before eventually running into each other and catching a fun photo with a historical statue in the area. Then, we spent some time lounging around the pool and resting before our official Nashville gig. Once we loaded up the car and headed to Drifters BBQ, we were golden… until we opened the trailer.
After a series of unfortunate events, we discovered that our bright orange tub of merch is no longer with us, and is, in fact, sitting at Jekyll Brewing in Georgia. Yay.
Luckily, we discovered this right before the gig, so there wasn’t really much time to fret. We will figure out how to ship it home later, but it’s a little disappointing because we have no merch to fund our adventure over the next few days or for our home show in Bangor his coming weekend. However, we had a fantastic time playing a gig in Nashville. We seriously just played a gig in Nashville, which is insane. The crowd was very receptive, and all the guys had some friends stop by to visit.
Tomorrow we head into foreign territory in West Virginia, and hopefully we won’t leave anything else behind in the next few days. I hope.
