‘Supra-Sized’ First Friday: Bluesman to join Scott Marshall at #LVUFirstFriday
This Friday’s already-stacked Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series lineup just got a little more loaded.
Scott Marshall, already slated to cap our evening at Godfrey Daniels, announced Tuesday night on Facebook that he and his band, The Hillbilly Souls, will be joined on Friday night by James Supra. The local bluesman will sit in during Marshall’s set, which is set to benefit the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley as part of the singer-songwriter’s annual Christmas Blessings campaign.
Marshall also announced that he will have the remaining copies of his “Band of Survivors” collaboration available for purchase at Godfrey Daniels, with all proceeds from those sales benefiting the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley. The collection of songs, written and performed with fellow cancer survivors, were first performed live at a benefit held for Marshall at Maingate Nightclub in Allentown earlier this year as the singer-songwriter recovered from his own battle with cancer.
Marshall will take the stage at 8:30 p.m., with singer-songwriter Erin Kelly beginning the evening at Godfrey Daniels promptly at 7:30. Learn more information on December’s full Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series lineup here.
