Touchstone Theatre Hosts ‘BrouHaHa’ Feb. 1-4

South Bethlehem’s Touchstone Theatre is teaming up with Rockville, MD-based Happenstance Theater to host the latter’s original production, BrouHaHa.

The show, created and performed in its entirety by the folks at Happenstance Theater, has been praised regionally in the Washington, D.C. metro area, and will be presented at the SouthSide landmark next Thursday, February 1 through Sunday, February 4.

BrouHaHa is described as “an existential escapade that follows (a) troupe of eccentrics,… inspired by images of refugees, cinematic treasures like La Strada and The Seventh Seal, and the dark comedy of Samuel Beckett.” The production focuses on six clowns who “walk the precipice at the end of the world, lighting up the darkness along the way like firecrackers.”

Tickets are available for $25 for adults and $15 for students and seniors at this link. Performances will take place Feb. 1-3 at 8 p.m., with a special matinee showing at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 4. “Pay-what-you-will” tickets are also available at the door for the Thursday, February 1 performance.
