Help Continue Bethlehem’s Proud St. Patrick’s Day Tradition
With Bethlehem’s traditional Parade of Shamrocks canceled for 2018, our community partners at SouthSide Arts District are trying to ensure that St. Patrick’s Day is still worth celebrating in Christmas City.
SouthSide Arts District is teaming up with Molly’s Bethlehem and the City of Bethlehem’s Parks and Recreation Department to present South Bethlehem’s first St. Patrick’s Day parade. They need your help to pull it off, and are actively seeking both volunteers and participants to join the parade route.
Your business, organization, or band is invited to march in the parade and join the fun! We’ve attached a handy participant application, which will get you one step closer to being a part of Bethlehem history, while bringing the city one step closer to continuing a time-honored tradition of a St. Paddy’s celebration.
Drop-off for the parade route will take place at SteelStacks, right underneath the “Fire Bridge” arch,at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 17. The parade begins at 1 p.m., proceeding down 1st St. before concluding at The Banana Factory at 2:30 p.m.
