Jordan White Steps into #LVUFirstFriday Residency
As we thaw out from last week’s Day After Tomorrow-esque storm that put a stop to the March 2018 edition of #LVUFirstFriday, we look ahead to warmer days — and the first First Friday of spring on April 6.
The always-steady Brian Kibler, who has done a phenomenal job holding it down at Molly’s Irish Grille and Sports Pub every First Friday since September, will be fulfilling other obligations on First Friday from April to June. Stepping in for Brian in that time will be none other than acclaimed singer-songwriter Jordan White.
White is a Season 5 American Idol contestant who has performed on major television networks including FOX, NBC, CBS, and NBC, and who has shared the stage and opened for national acts such as Third Eye Blind, Vertical Horizon, Bowling For Soup, Sharon Little, Ryan Star, Crystal Bowersox and Katharine McPhee. His music borrows influence from artists spanning rock and roll’s storied history; primarily, 1970s singer-songwriters like Jackson Browne and Van Morrison, ranging to alternative rockers Counting Crows and Third Eye Blind.
The full April #LVUFirstFriday lineup is coming within the week, and will be presented proudly by us, SouthSide Arts District, and Banko Beverage Co. Stay tuned for more updates, and be sure to join us on the South Side April 6!
