The Official May 2018 Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series Lineup

Begin your Cinco De Mayo celebration a night early in South Bethlehem, with the latest installment of #LVUFirstFriday, presented by Lehigh Valley Underground, SouthSide Arts District, and Banko Beverage Co.
This month’s lineup, true to form, has a little bit of something for everyone. Those who love blues, rock, soul, and… well, a lot of other things will want to come to Godfrey Daniels for an intimate performance from The Groove Merchants, as you’ve never heard them before. That performance begins at 7:30 p.m.

Best Hit TV will journey to the Lehigh Valley for #LVUFirstFriday: May 2018!
We’re also planning an after party at Color Me Mine Lehigh Valley, by way of a DIY showcase beginning at 9 p.m. and featuring local emo favorites theLionhearted alongside their hardcore pals, Widow’s Work. Also, just added to the bill — and sandwiched in the middle between the two locals — will be Newark, New Jersey-based noise pop trio Best Hit TV, a trio fronted by former Valley resident Andrew Sheldon (Mt. Shasta). That showcase is BYOB.
We’re also welcoming a new First Friday venue — The Broadway Social — into the fold with familiar faces January Noon. The acoustic pop duo will begin there at 6 p.m., the same time as former American Idol contestant Jordan White begins at Molly’s Irish Grille & Sports Pub, and as Americana/folk duo aGirl & aGuy at The Banana Factory.
Rounding out the lineup is Carter Lansing of LVMA-winning Americana band Acoustic Kitty Project, whose band performed a scintillating set at the SouthSide Arts & Music Festival earlier in April. Lansing joins us inside the always-welcoming confines of Domaci at 7 p.m.
Also, just announced: Bethlehem-based nerdcore rapper NyteXing joins us again, kicking off the night for us at EZ Money (20 W. 4th St.) at 5 p.m.
