A beautiful fall evening helped keep the streets packed all night long in South Bethlehem, as we welcomed a fresh batch of artists to SouthSide Arts District for the latest installment of #LVUFirstFriday.

The evening saw a mix of returning favorites to First Friday — including NyteXing, who debuted new music from the forthcoming “Welcome to Bludhaven” to open the night at EZ Money, as well as steady performances from Chelsea Lyn Meyer at Hill to Hill Grille, Ralph Pagano in an early slot at The Funhouse, and the always-dependable tandem of Brian Kibler and Jordan White at Molly’s Irish Grille & Sports Pub.

We also welcomed some fresh faces. The Banana Factory hosted Anni Powell‘s noteworthy #LVUFirstFriday debut, while Seth Witcher (also known as Chosen) filled in admirably in a last-minute switch when Peaschee was unable to make it due to illness. And, Godfrey Daniels was packed for good reason, as patrons had the chance to enjoy the songwriting talents of 13-year-old Sophie Beltz, who opened the evening for the intricate acoustic folk stylings of RamTrout.

Unfortunately, duty called us away from being able to catch the funky sounds of Meet the Mayor later on in the evening at The Funhouse, but we wanted to give those guys a shout, as well, and we hope to catch them soon!
