PREMIERE: The Waymores Burn it Down with ‘Matches’ Video

Earlier this spring, we told you about honky tonk Americana duo The Waymores and their strong traditional country EP, Weeds.

The duo — singer-songwriters Willie Heath Neal and Kira Annalise — have been on the road promoting the record. Still, they’ve found the time to share a fun video they’ve cooked up with us.

We have the pleasure of premiering the video for “Weeds” today, which fittingly takes place on the backdrop of the road as the duo takes turns — and sometimes, simultaneously appears — singing of their unapologetic willingness to burn bridges and live right for the person in the mirror. When one of The Waymores is not on-screen, a graphic matchbook interpretation of the song’s lyrics appears in their place, leading to some interesting and creative moments.
