If there was ever a day for a Christmas in July-themed Daily Spinn, it’s today.

So, we’re going there, to get with the trend, and to remind you that the holiday season is a short time away. If you have any holiday-themed tunes you want to send our way for Daily Spinn (or other) consideration, the earlier you speak up, the better.

Anyway, let’s go to a band we’ve recently featured here, to shine a light on a most glorious holiday album they released a couple years ago. The Beautiful Distortion released the stunning Merry Christmas… or Else in 2017, with a high-powered, guitar-driven version of the standard “We Three Kings” as its lead single.

The beauty of this one, of course, lies in the band’s trademark vocal harmonies. Notoriously white-suited frontman Dave Doll leads the way in the first verse, with a balance between he and sisters Karen and Amy Jones setting in during the first chorus and lending to some powerful and beautiful moments throughout the song.
