UMC to Present First Underground Writers Round Sept. 27

Back in 1987, Douglas Corner Cafe was founded “to create a music venue aimed at showcasing new singers and songwriters in Nashville.” In the years since, the showcase venue has hosted a mile-long list of prolific artists, from Alan Jackson, to Trisha Yearwood, to Blake Shelton.

With that said, it is our absolute honor to team with this historic venue to showcase some of Nashville’s brightest up-and-coming stars!

On Friday, September 27 at 9 p.m., Underground Music Collective and Douglas Corner will team up to present the first-ever Underground Writers Round. For a $5 suggested donation, you will have the opportunity to hear six of Nashville’s most exciting, prolific songwriters, who will share their songs, stories, and dreams in an up-close-and-personal setting.

We have the lineup ready and already know what’s in store! But, in true cliffhanger fashion, we have to keep you guessing until we announce it on the morning of Friday, September 6. For now, mark your calendars and make your plans to join us for this first-of-its kind event!
