Friday night was a night of celebration for New Jersey native Brooke Alexx at Nashville’s Mercy Lounge.

The rising pop star celebrated the release of her debut EP, Me, packing the house for a lively and dynamic show that served as the culmination of the past two years she has spent in Nashville. Brooke’s set combined her passions for music and dance with a bright and bubbly aesthetic, delivering an energetic performance comprised of songs from the EP and other selections.

Joining her on the bill was pop rapper Ellrod, whose impressive vocal range complemented a fun and laid back vibe that called contemporaries like Hoodie Allen to mind over a four-song set. Preceding him was trap-conscious hip hop artist Lord Goldie, who displayed impressive versatility alongside her band over the course of four songs, peppering in hints of soul, nu-metal, and everything in between throughout her set.
