PHOTOS: Timothy Myles Drives Through the Night at Diskin Cider

Timothy Myles sure is staying busy these days. Playing writers rounds. Winning writers round contests. Releasing new music…

In fact, that last thing we mentioned was the reason for Friday night’s celebration at Diskin Cider in Nashville.

Myles threw a party to celebrate the release of “Drive Through the Night,” his new single (and bona fide jam) that he co-wrote with The Parasocial Club. Myles’ performance was what we’ve come to expect from Myles; one marked by big, anthemic choruses and emotive storytelling, tied together by the Chicagoland native’s engaging presence.

Myles was also joined beforehand by a pair of exciting opening acts, beginning with soul singer A’Rose, whose R&B-influenced vibe got the night off to a smooth and pleasant start. Following her was No Name Blues, a trio of Kokomo, Indiana natives led by the distinctive vocals and bass work of Brother Dusty. The trio’s explosive and eclectic sound and fluid musicianship captivated the audience over the course of an hour-long set.
