One of the many wonders we’re finding out about Nashville is that you can catch live music almost anywhere, at just about any time.

That means if you want to enjoy brunch while listening to some of Music City’s renowned songwriters, you can do that.

Saturday afternoon presented us with such an opportunity, when we made our first trip to The Listening Room for Picks & Pints. Presented by acclaimed musician Alex Seier, the weekly late-morning round provides a fun atmosphere for folks rolling through and the performers alike.

Joining Seier for this edition of Picks & Pints were Mark Lonsway, a renowned country rock musician who has opened for the likes of Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, and many more of country’s giants; and Katie Cole, an Australian-born Americana artist who has also spent time touring extensively with The Smashing Pumpkins.
