Meet Timothy Zieger.

Based in northeastern Pennsylvania (not too far from our old stomping grounds), Zieger is a singer-songwriter with influences across genres and generations. His most recent album, North Light, was released in 2017 and features authentic stories and inventive songwriting throughout the course of its 14 tracks.

One of our favorites from North Light is “Robot Man,” a bright and swaggering composition which fantasizes about a future full of new discoveries. The tune’s soundscape is a piano rock-meets-folk hybrid, underscored by a staccato acoustic guitar progression, and made complete by crisp harmonies and tasteful, uplifting horn accents.
