WATCH: Micah Butler’s Live, Acoustic ‘Close Enough’

As Micah Butler proved at our Underground Writers Round this past November, she needs nothing more than an acoustic guitar and her voice to leave jaws on the floor in amazement.

But, in case you missed the fun that night, here’s some live-action proof that you can watch anytime.

The Belmont University grad released a video last month for her sparse, yet impactful new single, “Close Enough.” Using little more than a minimalist bluesy guitar progression and her powerful, well-commanded vocal instrument, Butler sings of the disappointment brought on by a lover that was never quite all-the-way committed to reciprocating.

The video was produced at Neon Leaf Media, with Corey Lawson on audio duties and Kimberly Nail in charge of lighting. Watch it below!
