Wednesday night, it was time for the songwriters of Nashville to show their best to the folks at Music City’s independent radio station.

Lightning 100 hosted its second Writers Night of 2020 at Helping Our Music Evolve. The series — sponsored by Sad Girl Music, Steel Barrel Brewery, and photography equipment supplier Paul C. Buff, Inc. — gave another 20 songwriters a chance to perform two songs each on the HOME stage, with an open mic room once again available in the collective’s rehearsal space for those not randomly selected to perform.

The series will continue on the second Wednesday of every month in 2020, with the next set to take place at H.O.M.E. on March 11. We caught some of the action, and are excited to share a few glimpses below.
