Tulsa, OK soul sextet Dane & The Soup, who released their debut single earlier this year, have struck again!

Whereas their debut single, “Crown & Weed,” was a slow, gritty ode to debauchery and regrettable decisions, new single “I Been Lonely” picks up the pace, bringing us back to the golden age of soul and Motown with fun grooves, melodic horns, and crisp harmonies. Vocalist Dane Arnold sings once again about love’s follies, addressing an inner conflict between staying with a lover he adores, and the persistent itch to let his heart wander in a futile search for greener pastures.
