At the moment, maybe we can’t all be together face-to-face. Even so, technology can help us share the music with one another.

On Friday evening, we hosted our virtual Underground Writers Round on Facebook Live. We were joined by musicians here in Nashville and around the country, who shared their songs and stories with us from the comfort of their own homes.

Those artists included a 5 p.m. round featuring Chicagoland natives Allison Mahal and Pete Ford, alongside Pennsylvania-based piano rocker Bobby Siegfried. Then, at 6 p.m., The Round was graced by Americana duo Burn the Treaty, country outlaw Clayton Kaiser, and Cleveland-born singer-songwriter Kaitlin Petty.
