The Quinn’s Daily Spinn: Friday, April 24

Mykel has been heard on stages nationwide, and in television and film projects including The Real Housewives of Orange County, Vanderpump Rules, and several Lifetime original movies.

However, the Salt Lake City native reached a new milestone earlier this month, by bringing the world together through music and dance.

In the time of COVID-19, Mykel teamed up with professional dancers around the world on a 100% remotely produced, edited, and choreographed music video for her single, “Speed of Light.” The goal of the project is simple; to keep dancers and other creatives doing what they love in these uncertain times, while spreading joy around the globe.

Specifically, Mykel has teamed with the Rad Dance Academy (Los Angeles), The Boom Crew Family (Salt Lake City), and the Lebanon Dance Academy (Lebanon) to help keep dancers moving in various corners of the world, including Lebanon, Japan, England, Los Angeles, Michigan, Utah, and more.

Certainly, we can get behind anyone who finds ways to keep the arts thriving. Mykel has done that, and we invite you to enjoy the project as today’s Daily Spinn!

The Quinn Spinn is a bi-monthly podcast, featuring conversations with musicians, producers, content creators, and industry professionals, providing insight into what it takes to succeed as a creative entrepreneur in today’s industry.
