Announcing UMC’s ‘Keep the Music Playing’ Campaign!

As we continue to weather the COVID-19 storm, we want to let you know that Underground Music Collective is committed to continually supporting the greater music community, in any way possible.
In fact, we’ve come up with a few ways, all rolled into one plan. Today, we’re excited to share it with you!
Today, we unveil the UMC Keep the Music Playing campaign, which will provide opportunities and funds to artists and Nashville venues affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a multi-tiered campaign that will keep eyes and ears on independent music, while lending a hand to those facing challenges during this time.
As part of Keep the Music Playing, Underground Music Collective pledges the following:
- A new Keep the Music Playing t-shirt, available for pre-order in our online shop. Through May 31, 25% of all online shop sales will be donated to local music venues affected by COVID-19.
- Continued live stream performance opportunities for artists, including the UMC Quarantine Jam, Virtual Underground Writers Round, and Facebook Live takeovers. Going forward, a Virtual Tip Jar will be made available for all live stream performers on our channels.
- Facebook Live interview opportunities for venue managers and other industry professionals, to shine a light on the challenges they face and ways the community can help.
- And, of course, as much daily content as we can muster, to keep the focus on people creating art in the greater music community!
We hope that you’ll join us in our efforts to Keep the Music Playing, through the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. Please reach out to us with any questions or to get involved!
