Josh Mack has stayed busy in quarantine, releasing the new single, “Cyberpunk,” a couple weeks ago on April 16. The tune — which first appeared on Live on Music Row EP from earlier this year — captures Mack’s penchant for guitar-driven blues rock.

All the while, “Cyberpunk” sees the Ohio native experimenting with new sounds. These include a hypnotizing MIDI keyboard progression that immediately sets the single’s futuristic tone. From there, the single swells into a vivid, multi-layered soundscape that feels fit for science fiction.
