Helping us in this endeavor is Abigail Jerri, via her video for her latest single, “Lighter.” Co-written with Amber Kamminga and Abigail Johnson, the single employs fresh tropical rhythms and a shimmering, island pop ambiance, serving as a carefree sonic foundation for Jerri’s soulful, sun-kissed R&B vocals.

“We had a girls night at (Johnson)’s house, talking about how all we really want at the end of the day in a relationship, and in life, is to just feel “lighter.” Jerri explained. “We drank wine, ate french fries, and talked about our relationships. At the end of the hang, we had a song!”
