The Quinn’s Daily Spinn: Wednesday, June 10

Ah, the splendors of the open road in the summertime. It’s even better when you can round up your bandmates into a van and get out there together on tour.

OK, so that might not be a thing right now, but Mighty Brother’s video for “Summer Road” will make you feel nostalgic for a time when it was.

The five-piece indie Americana outfit released the found footage video a couple weeks ago, right in time for summer. The video features the band’s adventures and roadside hijinx from their 2019 “Summer Road” tour, which started in their native New Orleans and headed westward to Denver, before coming back east through Chicago and the East Coast.

The video embraces the grind of time spent traversing the roads from gig to gig, where long hours are traded in for a sense of brotherhood and togetherness that withstands the test of time. Check it out below as today’s Daily Spinn!
