WATCH: Bellsavvy Confidently Steps Forward on ‘Queen of My Mind’

Bellsavvy‘s brand of fresh, edgy pop can be attributed to a number of inspirations. Raised in Brazil, the London-based songstress brings a potent mix of Latin sensibility and dancehall-ready pop to the track, creating a sound that is bold and distinctive.
On her debut single, “Queen of My Mind,” these influences are combined with stunning visuals, helping Bellsavvy burst onto the scene with a message of self-love and empowerment.
“Queen of My Mind” was inspired by Bellsavvy’s experiences in the modeling industry, where she was body shamed to the point of a mental breakdown. The resilient anthem sheds light on the damage caused by constant rejection, while encouraging listeners to find their own inner power and sense of self-love.
“’Queen of My Mind’ is a very personal, deep, and emotional song. I wrote it about three years ago after a mental breakdown I had at the very end of my modeling career,” Bellsavvy notes. “I want others to feel the power we have when we love ourselves. Self-esteem, self-love, and self-acceptance are the most powerful things we can have in us. It changes everything.”
“Queen of My Mind” was brought to life in the studio by Billboard HOT 100 producer David Lei Brandt (Lady Gaga). The video was produced by OBSCURE Film Collective, and serves as a fantastical representation of overcoming one’s inner battles to reach a place of self-acceptance. Take a look below!
