The Quinn’s Daily Spinn: Friday, June 26

We end the week of Daily Spinns the way we began — with some blazing-hot, rocking country.

This time, it comes to us by way of Austin Alexander, who released his debut single, “Hometown Hero,” back in May. The high-powered track documents the Texas native’s move to Nashville to grow into his musical dreams, and the feeling of having the folks back home always ready and willing to cheer him on.

“Hometown Hero” was a team effort brought to life in the studio by producer Austin Sisk at The Woodroom in East Nashville. Alexander also called upon notable instrumentalists to complete the vision, including guitarist Sol Philcox-Littlefield (Luke Combs) and Cody Johnson’s touring steel guitarist Harrison Yount.

Here is “Hometown Hero” to start your weekend as today’s Daily Spinn!
