DJ and producer Liam Keegan has worked with major labels including Sony, Universal, EMI, and Warner, producing tracks along the way for the likes of Katy Perry, Lizzo, Carly Rae Jepsen, Selena Gomez and Clean Bandit.

Now, he’s stepping out to let us all know a secret: growing up is optional.

“Forever Young” is a soaring dance pop single featuring the talents of synth-pop vocalist, burwell. The carefree single pokes fun at adulthood, acknowledging explicitly that we’re all making up the rules as we go.

“I was 29 when I realized nobody knows what they’re doing,” Keegan laughs. “Lack of fear is what keeps me young. It’s borderline stupidity.”

The video, posted on burwell’s YouTube channel, features a spirited escape from the rigors of 9-to-5 life. This signifies to us all that, perhaps, there’s more to life than what society has sold to us as “the norm.”
