On our latest episode of The Quinn Spinn (which you can listen to and support right over here), Cameron Floyd and I mentioned our friend and Top Writer Series 1 Champion Timothy Myles a couple times. It led me to wonder: what has Mr. Myles been up to lately?

The answer? He’s been busy making something that absolutely slaps.

The Chicagoland native teamed with Nashville-based pop-R&B duo TYM on an uncontrollably funky, unbelievably smooth new song, titled “Watch Your Back.” From its opening synth progression and crisp harmonies, I knew that we were in for a treat. I doubled down on that notion once the absolute fire bass line dropped in, supported by cool keys that would feel right at home in Michael McDonald’s catalog.

There’s so much to be excited about with “Watch Your Back,” that we’ve barely even touched the vocals yet. Both Myles and TYM vocalist A’Rose pile on the soul with their performances, while delivering infectious melodies that help to make this one of the can’t-miss songs of 2020.
