A’Rose, Z’Cano Release First Fresh Collaboration, ‘Fine’

Two familiar faces on Nashville’s pop circuit have combined forces for an anthem about self-worth and self-respect.
Producer Nik Lizcano (best known as Z’cano) teamed up with pop-soul vocalist A’Rose on “Fine,” a fresh tune with a solid beat, strong hook, and summery vibe. The single came to be during the pair’s first-ever co-write together where, before they wrote a note, they discussed the flakiness encountered on the 21st Century dating landscape.
“The song is about being confident enough to stand up for yourself, and not tolerate being walked all over by guys who don’t know what they want or don’t respect your time,” Lizcano said. “The song proclaims, ‘I was fine before I met ya, don’t think that I was counting seconds,’ as if to say unless you are emotionally available and have something to bring to the table, then I’m not interested in dating you.”
In this day of swipe-first dating apps and minimal effort, “Fine” is sure to resonate with all of you singles on some level. Check it below!
