The Quinn’s Daily Spinn: Thursday, Oct. 1

All pandemic long, we’ve seen artists getting inventive about how they shoot new music videos, keeping social distancing protocols in mind.

The electropop trio recently unveiled a video for their single, “Hit the Lights,” which takes inspiration from this early 2000s Vanessa Carlton classic. This time, frontman Jacob Culver takes a seat at the piano, with tongue-in-cheek, green-screened references to Carlton’s thousand-mile journey littered throughout.

As for the single? “Hit the Lights” is the focus track of the band’s What Day Is It? EP, which was released in late August. You can check that out here… after you enjoy the video as our Daily Spinn below!
