Daily Spinn: Anytime Soon Put Time and Care Into Preparing for ‘Jelly Donut Season’

In a perfect, non-COVIDed world, Anytime Soon would have brought the advent of “Jelly Donut Season” much sooner. However, the pandemic forced the Scranton, PA pop punks to make other plans, putting the breaks on the creative process behind their forthcoming EP.

Then, in the summer, that process kicked back up. They’ve since released the aforementioned single, and are hard at work on bringing that EP our way before long. And then… there’s this music video!

The video — directed by Eric Iyoob — was purposely shot in 35mm to hearken back to the music and TV shows the band watched growing up. Shot primarily on the stage inside of the Scranton Cultural Center, the band also found itself hanging out around Scranton and Wilkes-Barre — and even got some ink for their troubles!

“This (video) was no cheap or easy task,” said vocalist/guitarist Mitch Evans. “But, we think the video speaks for itself.”
