As you may have heard, we recently upped our live stream game, giving musicians in Nashville the opportunity to put on a professional live stream performance without breaking the bank.

But, what about our friends outside of Nashville? We’re glad you asked! We have a new way to get them in on the action from afar!

Beginning Thursday, December 3, we’ll be hosting the Thursday Night Takeover, a new weekly series on Facebook Live. Every week, a different artist will have the chance to take over our Facebook page and perform from anywhere for the UMC audience! Audience members will have the chance to interact and leave virtual tips throughout the stream, as we all join together to Keep the Music Playing this winter.

Specifically, this gives us a chance to connect with our friends from outside of Nashville. While we’ll use the Thursday Night Takeover to feature a local once in a while, the goal is to provide opportunities to artists from sea to shining sea — and beyond! You’ll see that reflected in our December lineup below!
