Daily Spinn: Amber DeLaCruz Has Never Had a ‘White Christmas’

This isn’t the “White Christmas” you might expect…

Native Floridian Amber DeLaCruz has never had the “pleasure” of shoveling snow in the winter. In fact, her part of the world is much more prone to a heat wave than a cold snap. So, she released a Christmas song for everyone whose holiday season more closely resembles a beach holiday.

“White Christmas” is a scorching hot country rocker, complete with blistering guitars, powerhouse vocals, and images of Santa pulling up in a convertible to deliver toys in a tank top and flip flops. The faint presence of sleigh bells adds a nice, seasonal touch to the mix, but don’t get it twisted — it’s a little too hot for hot cocoa in DeLaCruz’s world.

If you’ve never seen a gentle snowfall on December 24 — or at least, if you wish you didn’t have to — this one’s for you. Check out “White Christmas” as today’s Daily Spinn!
