That’s where Abstract Sekai hails from. Born and raised in Botswana, the hip hop artist keeps the mantra #GoUnderground at the core of all that he creates. Abstract Sekai fuses hip hop drums with messages about science and mythology, which are the central themes of his forthcoming EP, The Evolution of Consciousness.

“Amaltheia’s Blossom” is the third single from the record, and was just released to Bandcamp in late December. In Abstract Sekai’s own words, the single “sings to the awakening and coming to age of Africa’s rap gods, nurtured by the land itself, as Amaltheia nurtured Zeus.”
