Daily Spinn: The Barettas Return with Touchè

Hamilton, Ontario-based female rock duo The Barettas have proclaimed themselves “back from the grave,” and the first taste of their return serves as a wonderful re-introduction.
The duo, which formed back in 2008, bursts back onto the scene with “Touchè.” This fun indie rock tune packs a palpable punk energy, combined with a 90s West Coast vibe that shines through in frontwoman Katie Bulley’s vocals, which call Tragic Kingdom-era Gwen Stefani to mind.
“Touchè” is the first single from the duo’s upcoming full length effort, All is Fair in Love and Rock & Roll, which is due out this Friday. Until then, let today’s Daily Spinn hold you over!
