In the process of writing new music, Nashville-based pop artist Katie King has tapped into her own divinity. So much, that the title of her forthcoming EP is Divine.

That’s also the title of the lead single, released March 19. “Divine” features King’s airy alt-pop vocal, as she reflects on the solace found by getting in touch with her spiritual side over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic. The single is driven forward by a pulsing, low-end beat and a killer, funk-influenced bass line, while shimmering synths brighten the soundscape and send “Divine” to new, heavenly heights.
