Earlier this spring, Meagan Hickman joined us on UMC to boldly proclaim that she is “Still Here.”

She’s at it again — and this time, she has delivered a single that simmers with the summer heat.

On Friday, the Chicago native released “Obsession,” a scorching modern pop number driven by feelings of temptation and desire. The new single shows a different side of Hickman as an artist, showcasing her range with a bona fide summertime dance pop anthem.

“Obsession” was co-written alongside Evan Cline and Thomas Pino. Cline also produced the track, which was mixed by Matt Harris (Brooke Alexx, Dylan Rockoff) and mastered by Chris Gehringer (Dua Lipa, Selena Gomez, Halsey).
