Scotty Rock Bares All? Cashing in on that Beanie Baby Collection, and Spelunking in the Outhouse (ft. The OG Quinn Spinn Family)
Does Scotty really bare all on this episode? Only one way to find out, and that is to listen! And, even if he doesn’t, perhaps there are clues about what you need to do to make it happen. 😉
Truthfully, the episode title is long enough as it is, but that doesn’t even begin to cover how many topics we covered in an hour, and how off-the-rails this conversation went. When the OG crew gets together, you should expect nothing less.#GetSpunn

Once a month, we are partnering with Helping Our Music Evolve (HOME) in East Nashville to feature an artist who is enrolled in the organization’s Elite Artist Program, which teams recording artists with HOME’s Verified Producers and other business professionals to accelerate the process of creating and monetizing their music.
First up is Natasha Blaine. A Seattle native, Natasha moved to Nashville in 2018, and has been captivating audiences in Music City with her jazz-influenced vocals and engaging live performances ever since. She just released her new single, “You Don’t Treat Me the Same,” co-produced alongside HOME-certified producer Allan Fine.
I had the chance to chat with Natasha about the new single, her creative process, and the joys of performing live. In the process, I could sense her genuine excitement for what the future holds. Read the interview below, and check out “You Don’t Treat Me the Same” when you get to the bottom!Read more
We have to give credit where it’s due: y’all brought the HEAT this month.
This was one of those months where narrowing things down to just 20 signature tracks proved to be quite the challenge. Nonetheless, we did it, and we think it provides a healthy, cross-genre snapshot of what April brought to the table.
See if you agree, and hear what made the cut below!Hear the Best of April

The year was 2016. UMC was still wet behind the ears as a regional blog in eastern Pennsylvania known as Lehigh Valley Underground. Nashville was not yet a twinkle in our eyes. In fact, this whole experiment was still in its, well… experimental stages. Frankly, we had no idea that we’d still be here!
A young man named Doug Keller was writing for us back then, and he told us about a Philly-area band called Duke Maroon, whose single, “Heart Attack,” was featured on WXPN’s The Key as an NPR Tiny Desk submission.
Much has changed since then. We moved to Nashville. Duke Maroon took a hiatus that spanned several years. And now, with Keller in the band, they’ve decided that they’re bringin’ it back.Hear ‘Heart Attack’ as You Never Have Before
We have ourselves some fresh boom bap for your weekend!Hear ‘Persia’
As we’ve pointed out plenty of times on the Muze blog, it takes a village to build a career in the music industry. No one artist – or industry professional, for that matter – can go it alone. And fortunately, you don’t have to.
This article is dedicated to helping you know what to look for – and what roles to fill – when building your team. And of course, you’ll need more than musical talent in your midst to bring your career to the top. Let’s explore the different roles together, shall we?
