Daniel Champagne Announces July 14 Nashville Performance

After more than two years away, Daniel Champagne is coming back to America — and his tour includes a date in Nashville!

The Australian singer-songwriter and guitar virtuoso will give an intimate performance at Helping Our Music Evolve (615 Main St., Suite G1, Nashville) on Thursday, July 14 at 7:30 p.m. General admission tickets are available for purchase at this link for $20.

The performance is part of Champagne’s 38-date U.S. tour, which begins June 30 in Seattle, WA, and concludes in Gainesville, FL on August 21. Champagne will be touring in support of his upcoming, still-untitled sixth album, and will receive support from fellow Australian artist Catherine Britt on select dates.

Champagne is a classically trained guitarist who has been touring professionally since he was 18 years old. His guitar prowess and ability to infuse percussive rhythms into his catchy roots-rock ballads make him truly one-of-a-kind. Champagne is also a notorious road warrior who averaged over 300 shows a year pre-pandemic. He has played some of the biggest festivals in the world, and has shared stages with greats such as Tommy Emmanuel, INXS, John Butler, Lucinda Williams, Rodrigo Y Gabriela and many others. On top of being critically acclaimed for his live performances, Champagne’s song, “Holding The Moon” — from his album, The Gypsy Moon Volume II — took home the award for best Folk/Americana/Roots song at the International Acoustic Music Awards in 2015.

When the pandemic hit in early 2020, Champagne was forced to return home to Australia, where he was sequestered by a two-year travel ban. Despite the unforeseen circumstances, he continued honing his craft, writing new songs and engaging his fans relentlessly with 400 straight days of performing via livestream. In preparation for his upcoming tour, Champagne has curated a brand-new, can’t-miss live show that is bound to delight guitar enthusiasts and music lovers alike.
