LISTEN: Rome & Duddy Have Your Back with ‘I’ll Be Right Here’
Rome & Duddy — the eponymous duo project of Sublime with Rome’s Rome Ramirez and Dirty Heads’ Dustin “Duddy B” Bushnell — are coming to Nashville’s Skydeck on Broadway this Friday, November 25.
While you wait for their arrival to Nashville (or wherever you reside), they want you to know that they’re here for you.
The duo just released “I’ll Be Right Here,” a sweet Americana anthem about finding community among our loved ones. Co-produced by Vance Powell (Chris Stapleton, Jack White, and Phish) and Leroy Powell (Shooter Jennings and Sturgill Simpson), “I’ll Be Right Here” provides a warm respite amongst the challenges of post-COVID society.
“In the midst of the pandemic, when so many people were far from their loved ones, this song became our ode to always being there for somebody,” Rome & Duddy said in a joint statement.
Surely, we can expect to hear “I’ll Be Right Here” when Rome & Duddy kick off their 11-date Winter Moon tour this Friday in Music City, in commemoration of their debut EP.
Wherever they go, you can be certain that they’ll be bringing the good vibes with them.
“Both of us make music because that’s what makes us happy—it’s the oxygen in our lungs,” Ramirez said. “I hope, when people hear these songs, it gives that same kind of happiness, the feeling of being with family and friends and just enjoying that time together.”
