Gerard’s Pick (The Sheriff’s Selection): Stephen Babcock

Highmark Community Blue Shield Stage (South Side), 4 p.m.

I’ve had two opportunities to enjoy Stephen Babcock’s relatable folk-pop stylings, and both of those opportunities came in Nashville. From those experiences, I can tell you that watching him perform is an opportunity not to be missed.

Phillip’s Pick: Jon Worthy & the Bends

Plaza Tropical (North Side), 5:30 p.m.

A true “rockstar” from Nashville, TN, Jon Worthy puts on a spectacle of a show, and his indie-pop music is incredibly fun to listen to. He’s also the literal “poster child” for Your Next Favorite Band, as his silhouette has become our brand image for the show.
