It’s a busy week here at UMC. There’s a new episode of The Quinn Spinn out. We have tons of submissions to catch up on from vacation (and even before). Oh, and it’s Americanafest in Nashville this week, and we’re going out to get us some of that, starting tonight.
When will we sleep? We don’t know!

Kevin Daniel’s music career started when he was just five years old, singing Disney songs into a turkey baster-turned-microphone. A year later, he was enrolled in music lessons, starting on piano and eventually picking up the sax. By middle school, he was playing in state symphonic bands, touring with classical horn trios, and singing his heart out any chance he could get.

On the surface, Ryan Weaver is a country artist. And, as his latest single “Time Like This” suggests, he can hold his own among the genre’s best. The hard-driving tune’s lyrics are rooted in the blue-collar values of persistence and perseverance, and its power is enhanced by a nod to Weaver’s classic rock influence, courtesy of an emotive guitar solo straight out of the Richie Sambora playbook.
