Allan Scott Band: Live at City View Sound

Singer and songwriter Allan Scott discovered an affinity for music at a young age. He was 11 when his brother started taking guitar lessons. “I eventually took his guitar and didn’t give it back,” Allan explained with a laugh.

Allan’s band features rich pop sounds with a strong message of faith, and the incredible musicians in Allan’s midst participate wholeheartedly in the songwriting process.

Kevin Daniel: Live at City View Sound

Kevin Daniel’s music career started when he was just five years old, singing Disney songs into a turkey baster-turned-microphone. A year later, he was enrolled in music lessons, starting on piano and eventually picking up the sax. By middle school, he was playing in state symphonic bands, touring with classical horn trios, and singing his heart out any chance he could get.

He’s the thirty-something, dad-bod rocking, acoustic guitar-playing eponymous front-man of the second biggest band in his small town, and his name is Grover Anderson. Raised in the historic gold rush hills of Calaveras County, Grover writes songs that tell stories of love, loss, and frontier mischief.

Cat London is a New Jersey-based indie artist, backed onstage and in the studio with a dark pop conglomeration that includes Rich Aveo (piano/vocals), Paul O’Keeffe (bass), and Anthony Freda (drums). London’s sound, performance, and songwriting combines Ryan Adams and Damien Rice’s tender portrayal of love and conflict with electrified indie pop tunes, invoking the energy of Lana Del Rey and Lady Gaga. In fact, we might as well add in some Fiona Apple and Jewel, while we’re at it.
