With the summer now over, and with our event schedule a bit lighter, it’s a good time to see what — or better yet, who — has been flying under our radar in recent months.
The one-year anniversary of the Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series is this Friday, and we’re excited. SouthSide Arts District is excited. Hopefully, you’re excited, too.
I was inspired by some social media conversations this morning. Some I witnessed, and others I experienced. Collectively, they left me with the question…

It’s springtime, and a glorious month is just getting underway here at Lehigh Valley Underground. We’ve got a lot going on throughout April, particularly in South Bethlehem, and it all starts this Friday night for the April 2018 installment of the Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series, presented in conjunction with our pals at SouthSide Arts District, Banko Beverage Co. and, this month, Fig Bethlehem!
As we have embarked on our third year on the scene — and in addition to the goals we previously set at the outset of 2018 — we have the mindset of taking our game to the next level to better serve you.
Ladies and gentlemen, the day is nearly upon us.
With Monday’s announcement of the Lehigh Valley Underground 2nd Birthday Spectacular at SteelStacks on January 19, we are in a celebratory mood as we prepare for this milestone with our community and some of the finest musicians from this side of the Mississippi.
It’s hard to believe that we’re already just a week and a half away from another enthralling edition of the Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series, presented in conjunction with SouthSide Arts District.
We stand here, in slight disbelief that we’ve already reached the middle of October. 2017 has been quite an eventful year, here at Lehigh Valley Underground and across our community in general. And, while the year is certainly still far from over, it’s not too early to reflect on all we’ve seen and heard.
