Forever Came Calling formed in the year 2006 as a Senses Fail and Taking Back Sunday cover band. After multiple lineup changes, John Swaba joined as bassist. Then, they recorded and released their debut EP, HopE P.assion.
The success only continued from there. The band was featured on the documentary, No Room For Rockstars, which helped them gain recognition in advance of their first split EP with Handguns (2011). In 2012 they released their first full-length album, Contender and soon after needed a new guitarist. They found one in Isaac Taylor, who was with them when they released Family Thief, their second split EP, in 2013.Watch the video

Festival season is here and it’s one of my favorite times of the year for a number of reasons. As a musician, it provides several opportunities to perform in front of and be heard by larger audiences. It also presents an opportunity to network with those audiences.
