Back in 1987, Douglas Corner Cafe was founded “to create a music venue aimed at showcasing new singers and songwriters in Nashville.” In the years since, the showcase venue has hosted a mile-long list of prolific artists, from Alan Jackson, to Trisha Yearwood, to Blake Shelton.
With that said, it is our absolute honor to team with this historic venue to showcase some of Nashville’s brightest up-and-coming stars!
Underground Music Collective and Douglas Corner have teamed up to present the Underground Writers Round. For a $5 suggested donation, you will have the opportunity to hear six of Nashville’s most exciting, prolific songwriters, who will share their songs, stories, and dreams in an up-close-and-personal setting.
We will be back at Douglas Corner Cafe once a month in 2020, bringing fresh lineups of Nashville’s most prolific songwriters to the historic venue’s stage. All of these dates fall on the third Friday of the month and the music starts at 9 p.m. Our upcoming dates are:
