Underground Writers Round
Back in 1987, Douglas Corner Cafe was founded “to create a music venue aimed at showcasing new singers and songwriters in Nashville.” In the years since, the showcase venue has hosted a mile-long list of prolific artists, from Alan Jackson, to Trisha Yearwood, to Blake Shelton.
With that said, it is our absolute honor to team with this historic venue to showcase some of Nashville’s brightest up-and-coming stars!
On Friday, September 27 at 9 p.m., Underground Music Collective and Douglas Corner will team up to present the first-ever Underground Writers Round. For a $5 suggested donation, you will have the opportunity to hear six of Nashville’s most exciting, prolific songwriters, who will share their songs, stories, and dreams in an up-close-and-personal setting.
The six songwriters who will help us begin a new era of live music in Nashville are…
Elisabeth Beckwitt, indie pop artist and founder of Sad Girl Music
Acoustic pop singer-songwriter Evan Cline
Top Writer Series finalist Cameron Floyd
Top Writer Series winner Timothy Myles
Alternative rock musician Savannah
American rock and roll songwriter The Slow Drag
