Listen to ‘Old Habits’You’ll catch a few different vibes from this week’s Songs You Should Hear.
Maybe you’re ready to party. On the contrary, maybe you’re ready to put your head down and grind. Or, maybe you’re not in the mood for either, and would rather spend time in the arms of the one you love.
Whatever you’re in the mood for, it’s here.
Hear What You ShouldLast week, we delivered the news that we (in conjunction with NashLive!) are producing Hear Her Voice, an all-female songwriters night to benefit Safe Haven Family Shelter on Tuesday, June 7. The lineup features eight female performers, who will join us for featured sets at LTH Coffee & Social, located at 7113 Charlotte Ave. in West Nashville.
Are you ready for the lineup? Good, because we’re ready to give it to you!
Meet the LineupOnce a month, we are partnering with Helping Our Music Evolve (HOME) in East Nashville to feature an artist who is enrolled in the organization’s Elite Artist Program, which teams recording artists with HOME’s Verified Producers and other business professionals to accelerate the process of creating and monetizing their music.
First up is Natasha Blaine. A Seattle native, Natasha moved to Nashville in 2018, and has been captivating audiences in Music City with her jazz-influenced vocals and engaging live performances ever since. She just released her new single, “You Don’t Treat Me the Same,” co-produced alongside HOME-certified producer Allan Fine.
I had the chance to chat with Natasha about the new single, her creative process, and the joys of performing live. In the process, I could sense her genuine excitement for what the future holds. Read the interview below, and check out “You Don’t Treat Me the Same” when you get to the bottom!

It takes place on Saturday, February 26, and will be the first NashLive! event ever to take place at Springwater Supper Club (115 27th Ave. N., Nashville).
As for the lineup? Jon will be opening the night once again. We’re also thrilled to be re-joined by two NashLive! alums in Natasha Blaine and TROY.
When we last checked in with Natasha Blaine, we were at The East Room back in July. Since then, she has released her latest single, “Paris Again,” and has continued to light up Nashville with her soulful live performances.
And! Speaking of soul, TROY brought his captivating pop rock storytelling and showmanship to The East Room back in October, as part of the first-ever 615Fest. Since then, he’s released a couple of acoustic singles, with more fun sure to come throughout 2022.
Tickets for this NashLive! and #PopRocks collaboration are on sale now for just $10, and will also be available at the door. Music starts at 8 p.m., and you need to be 21 or older to come part
We had such a good time at the last NashLive! x #PopRocks! Showcase mashup that we can’t wait to do it again.
And so, we will.
Learn the DetailsFor the third month in a row, we spent the last Thursday of the month at The East Room for a Live from the 615 event!
Read moreWe’ll be returning to The East Room (2412 Gallatin Ave., Nashville) on Thursday, July 29 with a fun bill offering many different shades of pop. Joining us to complete this endeavor are the super talents of Nashville locals Timothy Myles, Natasha Blaine, and SHELBYY
A Chicagoland native, Timothy Myles kicked off the ticketed era of Live from the 615 shows, back when our world was entirely virtual. His EP, Songs of Hope from Sorrow, was recorded live at Battery Lane Music in East Nashville, and released in full this spring. An engaging performer and songsmith, Myles’ performance will serve as a warm welcome to The East Room!
Speaking of that show back in March, Natasha Blaine also crushed it that night. Since then, she’s released her new EP, titled I Fall in Love Too Easily, which has only helped her brand of jazz-pop catch fire here in Nashville — and everywhere else!
SHELBYY is a modern pop-punk/rock artists from Los Angeles, currently residing in Nashville. Her new single, “LOUD,” is the quintessential post-COVID anthem, and a sign of the fun, edgy material she has coming down the pipeline. She’ll surely bring that same energy to the table when she joins us in East Nashville!
