After teasing a new release in haunting Halloween fashion last week, harmonious hard rockers The Beautiful Distortion came back in a big way with new single, “Black Cloud.”
The one-year anniversary of #LVUFirstFriday was wild — and wildly successful.
Just a few short hours before the One-Year Anniversary Edition of the Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series roared through South Bethlehem, two of its performers gave a harmonious preview of the night ahead.

Bethlehem-based rock band The Beautiful Distortion is one of 60 acts that received a call-back to audition for the “Music Under New York” (MTA MUSIC) program in May. Even with what many expect to be a rainy week, a sure sign of summer is on the way this weekend: the beginning of the Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks season!
The 52 free shows on the Levitt stage begin Friday and Saturday night with Lehigh Valley Music Awards Winners Preview Weekend, featuring four local acts who found themselves recognized at the LVMAs back in March.
Also, a note: keep an eye on the weather (and LVU’s Facebook page) for updates as to the location of Out to Lunch this week. In case of inclement weather, the plan will be to move indoors to a location to be determined.
