Earlier this week, the prospect of a possible snowstorm on Friday had us carefully watching the forecast, giving us flashbacks to when we had to cancel the March edition of First Friday.
Fortunately for us, Mother Nature not only showed mercy this time around, but cooperated in a big way by giving us a beautiful spring afternoon for our biggest First Friday since October.
It’s springtime, and a glorious month is just getting underway here at Lehigh Valley Underground. We’ve got a lot going on throughout April, particularly in South Bethlehem, and it all starts this Friday night for the April 2018 installment of the Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series, presented in conjunction with our pals at SouthSide Arts District, Banko Beverage Co. and, this month, Fig Bethlehem!
Hey… believe it or not, it’s April. We know it doesn’t look the part outside right now, but trust us. The calendar doesn’t lie.
It’s a new month, which of course means you can expect plenty of fun in South Bethlehem this Friday presented by us, SouthSide Arts District, and Banko Beverage Co. Let’s see what other wonders the scene beholds with these…

I was right. Last night’s installment of the event was nothing short of fantastic.
After a successful kick-off last year, Touchstone Theatre presents its second concert fundraiser Jakopa’s Punch Bowl on Friday from 7-10 p.m. at the Charles A. Brown Ice House. This Mardi Gras-themed evening of eclectic music by three local bands, New Orleans-style lite fare, and all-you-can-drink beer and wine supports upcoming original works at Touchstone, including the April premiere of Dictators for Dummies.
Legend has it that because a rodent saw his shadow last week, we have six more weeks of winter.
